Description

Terroir

A plot of Chardonnay planted in 1944 on limestone scree and grey Lias marl.

Jacques Tissot's Tasting Notes

Bouquet

Intense and elegant nose which combines white fruits and pear with grilled notes of almond, vanilla and smoke.

Palate

Full, round and powerful mouth with a beautiful minerality which reflects the terroir of this plot. Those delicate notes of toasted almonds, vanilla and of pears reappear on the palate.

Ageing Potential

From six to ten years, best decanted during the early years.

Wine and Food Pairing

Can be drunk as an aperitif, with subtle fish dishes, or with poultry in creamy sauces.

Best served between 10 and 13°C
