Macvin du Jura Rosé


This liqueur wine has been made in the Jura since the 14th century.
It is a blend of two thirds grape must with one third marc brandy, which must have aged for at least four years in oak.


Vinification and Ageing

Manual harvest and pneumatic pressing.

After pressing, the juice settles to clarify for 18 hours, before the Jura marc brandy is added.

The resulting blend ages in 600-litre barrels for at least three years.

Pale salmon with intense, bright tints.

The first nose is floral, before moving on to red fruits.



The palate is supple, fresh, sharp and very rich.

Flavours of quinces, candied fruits, hazelnuts and brioche.
All of the nose's intensity and aromatic diversity are equally present in the mouth.

A beautiful, delectable finish.


Ageing Potential

From 10 to 25 years.


Wine and Food Pairing

Accompanies melon very well, also perfect with any sweet-and-sour dishes, foie gras, and vanilla or rum and raisin ice creams.

Best served between 5 and 8°C.

750 ml bottle. A liqueur wine made according to an ancestral recipe, tasting of morello cherries. Delicious as an aperitif with chocolate to nibble alongside!
